ART EXPO & BUTTERFLYS
Well it has taken me a week to catch up after taken last weekend off to go to NYC for the Art Expo. I’m still not totally caught up but getting there. The EXPO was INCREDIBLE!!! I will definitely be a regular every year. It was absolutely gigantic. You can’t possibly do it all completely in a day. For those of you who have never been to NYC I have posted some photos of the drive down the west side highway into the city. Funny I lived there most of my life and never photographed it. Driving through though I couldn’t help but think about how much I took advantage of the urban beauty. When I moved to Vermont I told myself I would never overlook the beauty of this state but of course after awhile I don’t pay attention. Off in dream world not noticing what’s right in front of me. I catch myself now and then though. It’s not just the scenery though we have the most beautiful old barns, buildings, and covered bridges as well. Inspired by all of this photography I’ve been doing I have come up with a new technique. I will talk more about it once I have completed some pieces. VERY EXCITING!! On the way back from the city we stopped at Magic Wings it’s a butterfly sanctuary in Mass. We have been there 4 times now. It’s a great pit stop on the long drive home from the city.
